About

Community Investment Recovery Center (CIRC) is DSCEJ’s Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center (EJ TCTAC), launched in March 2022 with support from the U.S. EPA and Department of Energy as part of the Justice40 Initiative. Its focus is community-based organizational strengthening across EPA Regions 4 & 6—13 states, including Louisiana, and 72 Tribal nations. Over the next five years, CIRC will support up to 250 community-based organizations to access $50–100 million in federal grants focused on environmental justice, climate resilience, and clean energy transitions.
