America's Watershed Initiative and The Nature Conservancy are hosting a 3-day workshop that will bring together a wide range of experts, water advocates, academics, and community members all dedicated to water protection and water quality improvement in the Mississipi River. The program will focus on five key issue areas for the watershed: conserving fish and wildlife, mitigating floods and droughts, sustaining inland navigation, enhancing recreation, and improving water quality.
