The LSU Center for River Studies is a collaborative partnership between the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority and the LSU. On the First Free Sunday, visitors can explore the coastal-themed exhibit space for free. The primary focus of the event is to interact with the the Lower Mississippi River Physical Model, to learn more about the history of the Mississippi River, ongoing restoration projects, and engage in hands-on discussions.
