About

Atchafalaya Basinkeeper will be joining the Friends of the LSU Hilltop Arboretum and the LA Master Naturalists of Greater Baton Rouge for their “Discover Nature” speaker series to discuss Atchafalaya Basinkeeper’s more than 20 years protecting the Atchafalaya Basin and how the current management of the Atchafalaya Basin will affect the future of the Basin as a floodway.

Learn about management solutions that would maintain the Atchafalaya Basin's flood capacity, deliver valuable sand and silt to the coast where it is needed, and protect our communities and Southcentral Louisiana from flooding for future generations.
